Charles Roy Williamson, 85, of Jacksonville, Georgia, died on Saturday, June 13th, 2020, in the Dodge County Hospital in Eastman.
Charles was a member of Emmanuel Apostolic Church. He retired as Transportation Director with the Dodge County School System and worked with Conley Construction Company for 12 years and Ocmulgee Construction.
He was preceded in death by the mother of his children, Betty Williamson; daughter, Kay Lann; parents, William Thomas Williamson and Elizabeth Joiner Williamson; brother, Clark Williamson and a sister, Willie Clair Strickland.
Services will be private. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
Survivors include his wife, Ida Mae Hulett Williamson of Jacksonville; 2 daughters, Brenda York of Abbeville, Faye (Lee) Hollinsworth of Abbeville; 5 step-children, Angela (Robert) Lot of Douglas, Frank Register of Wray, Brenda Phillips of Fitzgerald, James Register of Jacksonville, Sheila (Cliff) Short of Douglas; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive.
