Dale Rodney Byrd
Dale Rodney Byrd, 74 of Helena, passed Sunday, May 14, 2023, at his residence. He is preceded by his father, John Lewis Byrd; mother, Mary Hammock Byrd Reaves; stepfather, Bill Reaves; brother, Mike Byrd and son, Dale Byrd.
Mr. Byrd was a Heavy Equipment Operator for Tomberlin Construction.
Survivors include his wife, Jo Carol Byrd; daughters, Jodi (Joey) York of Helena, Mandy (Tony) Nelson of Macon and Leslee (Brooks) Brown of Gray; sons, John (Chelsea) Byrd of Eastman and Dave (Tina) Clardia of Atlanta; 21 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Lowes Funeral Home with interment to follow in Zion Hope Cemetery with Military Honors.
The family will receive friends Monday, May 15, 2023 from 6-8PM at Lowes Funeral Home.
