Desmond Layne Hattaway, 27 of Pitts, passed away Sunday, April 16, 2023. He is preceded in death by his mother, Jessica Nicole Marchant.
Mr. Hattaway is survived by his wife, Jenna Rose Hattaway of Pitts; sons, Leland Hattaway of Pineview and Madison Layne Hattaway of Pitts; father, Glen Hattaway; half-brother, Karson Overstreet of Tifton; brother, David “Izzy” Luthi of Widner, KY; parents and grandparents, Dean Marchant and Gwen Cook of Abbeville and Leland Hattaway’s mother, Chasity Terrez.
A memorial service will take place at 3 P.M. on Sunday, April 30, 2023 at Stubbs Cemetery in Abbeville. Rev. Terry Cole will officiate.
