Herbert Eugene “Herbie” Moore Jr.
Herbert Eugene “Herbie” Moore Jr., 62 of Helena, passed away, Saturday, February 18, 2023 at the Augusta University Hospital. He is preceded in death by his parents, Herbert Eugene and Iris Victoria Pitts Moore and siblings, Starlet Moore, Debbie Sharpton, Sharon Pfliger, Linda McRae, Leila Moore and Larry Moore.
Mr. Moore was a former employee with Husqvarna and Trane in Vidalia.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Benita Moore of Helena; sons, Chris (Heather) Moore of Helena and Matt (Megan) Moore of Helena; 10 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 2:30 – 3:30 P.M. on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at Lowe’s Funeral Home. The graveside service will follow at 4 P.M. at Helena City Cemetery. Rev. Roswell Chapman and Rev. Stanley Steverson will officiate.
