James “Jim” Alfred Pfliger
James “Jim” Alfred Pfliger, 75 of McRae, passed away Friday, December 16, 2022. He is preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Moore Pfliger and parents, Alfred and Alice Ann Pfliger.
Mr. Pfliger served the City of McRae from 1971 until 2014 in which during this time in 1999, he retired from the Fire Department as Chief.
Mr. Pfliger is survived by his daughter, Alice (John David) Hudson of Roberta; grandson, Holt Hudson of Roberta and sister, Jane (Mark) Petrak of Springfield, MO.
A graveside service will be held at 3 P.M. on Monday, December 19, 2022 at the Oak Grove Cemetery. Rev. L.S. Seabolt will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask for any donations to be sent to the McRae-Helena Fire Fighters Association: 181 East Oak St. McRae-Helena, GA 31055.
