James “Jimmy” Roy Puckett
James “Jimmy” Roy Puckett, 73, of Milan, died on Wednesday, March 3rd, 2021 in the Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital in Athens.
Jimmy was the Deputy Warden with the Georgia Dept. of Corrections before retiring. He was a member of the Milan Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Freda Inez Rogers and James Ansel Puckett.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 6th, 2021 in the Milan Baptist Church with burial following in the Antioch II Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Aubrey Corbitt will be officiating.
Survivors include his wife, Dale Puckett of Milan; children, Brad (Rachel) Puckett of Lumber City, Chad (Tonya) Puckett of Milan and Shasta (Dewayne) Mullis of Milan; brother, Jeff (Catina) Puckett of Dublin; grandchildren, Chelsea Puckett, Christopher Puckett, Chloe Puckett, Daniel Thompson, Dalton Thompson, Danielle Mullis, Jarrett Mullis, Cadie Marchant, Carlie Marchant and Brodie Marchant.
The family will be receiving friends and family from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Friday, March 5th, 2021 at the funeral home.
