Littleton Richard Howard, 89, of Helena, died on Friday, March 6, 2020 in McRae Manor Nursing Home in McRae.
Richard was a Helena Street Superintendent before retiring. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dora Lucille Clark Howard; his parents, Allen Jackson Howard and Winnie Purvis Howard.
Services will be held on Sunday, March 8th at 3:00 P.M. in the chapel of Lowe’s Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Helena City Cemetery. The Rev. Alvin Lewis and the Rev. Gary Mimbs will officiate.
The family will receive friends and family from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, March 8th in the chapel of Lowe’s Funeral Home before the services.
Survivors include his son, Ronnie (Fran) Howard of Midway; daughter, Linda Kay Piper of Rockmart; 2 grandchildren, Richie (Melissa) Howard of Jonesboro, Kelly (Jeremiah) Lowe of Douglas; 2 great-grandchildren; Jaxson Richard Howard of Jonesboro, Kylie Blake Lowe of Douglas.
