Ruth Cason, 66, of Helena, died on Tuesday, August 3rd, 2021 in Fairview Park Hospital in Dublin.
Ruth was a homemaker, worked at American Yard Products for 16 years, and Piggly Wiggly for many years before retiring. She was a member of the North Railroad Community Church in Chauncey.
Ruth is preceded in death by her father, Arthur Graham, mother, Rozelle Burch Snellgrove; siblings, Cecil Snellgrove, Jody Smith, David Snellgorve, Carl Snellgrove, Joan Snellgrove, Joe Snellgrove, Rose Mary Snellgrove and Chris Wright.
Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Lowe’s Funeral Home on Friday, August 6th, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. with interment to follow in the New Bethel Church Cemetery, The Rev. Ladon Connell will be officiating.
Survivors include her husband, Roy Cason Sr. of Helena; children, Roy (Tracy) Cason Jr. of Helena, Richard (Debbie) Cason of McRae, Ronnie (Angel) Cason of Cochran, Thomas Carlton Snellgrove of McRae; 16 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Mark (Janice) Brown of Helena, Henry (Michele) Snellgrove of Dublin, Julie (Blaine) Coleman of Eastman, Frances Snellgrove Ross of Eastman, Janet Melvin, of Dublin, Susan Snellgrove of McRae, David (Cindy) Smith of Dublin, John Snellgrove of Chauncey, Ann Snellgrove of Moultrie; several nieces and nephews also survive.
The family will receive friends and family from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, August 5th, 2021 at Lowe’s Funeral Home.
