Yvonne Varnadoe Ertzberger
Yvonne Varnadoe Ertzberger, 74 of Lumber City, passed away Tuesday, January 03, 2023 at her residence. She is preceded in death by her parents, Malcolm and O’Marie Cheeks Varnadoe, Jessie Mae Varnadoe and Clarance L. and Susie Webster Varnadoe; sister, Elaine Varnadoe Williams.
Ms. Ertzberger was owner of the Visiting Nurses Association of Telfair Co and also a Licensed Practical Nurse.
Ms. Ertzberger is survived by her sons, Craig (Tanya) Wilcox of Dallas, GA and Chris (Jennifer) Wilcox of Lumber City; Husband, William Ertzberger; brothers and sisters, Rhonda (Carl) Taylor of Hazlehurst, Susan (Tommy) Webster of Lumber City, Mike (Dawn) Varnadoe of Lumber City and Derrick Varnadoe of Lumber City; grandchildren, Ty Wilcox, Mason Wilcox, Gracie Wilcox, Layton Wilcox, Cole Wilcox, Vince Wilcox, Morgan Carelock, Matthew Carelock and Josh Grantham; great-grandchildren, Jiuliana Wilcox, Parker Wilcox, Harley Wilcox, Kaitlyn Wilcox, Colton Wilcox, Teagan Wilcox and Maeva Mason.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 05, 2023 from 6 P.M. – 8 P.M at Lowe’s Funeral Home. The funeral service will take place on Friday, January 06, 2023 at 1 P.M. in the Chapel of Lowe’s Funeral Home. Burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery. Rev. Sam Holland, Chris Steverson and Rev. Merle Webster will officiate.
